To all concerned;
It's always a pleasure working with John and we look forward to having him bring projects to our facility in the future.
-Eric Matheson, Production Designer, Native Son Productions, LLC and Fore River Sound Stage, LLC
"Our film, "You Can't Kill Stephen King" could not have been possible without the amazing production expertise, organizational prowess, and crew rolodex of John E. Seymore. If you want to have a smooth shoot, getting John on board your project is a good first step."
-Monroe Mann, Producer/Co-Director/Co-Writer/Actor, "You Can't Kill Stephen King"
"John combined the perfect balance of professionalism and personality on set. He took care of issues on set without complaint or hassle - if something needed to get done, his team took care of it, simple as that. His commitment to the project didn't end when the cameras stopped rolling either, providing us with contacts and information well after the production process was over. I would certainly work with John again and look forward to our next project together."
-Ronnie Khalil, Producer/Co-Director/Co-Writer/Actor, "You Can't Kill Stephen King"
"John is simply "that guy" that every independent film needs. Somehow, and don't ask me how, he can get anything done. If you need an abandoned warehouse, a 1920's fire truck, 4 PA's who will work for free, and a DP to fill in at the last minute, AND you have no money, John can find them all for you. He is just as comfortable pouring over spreadsheets of budgets and schedules as he is taping black cloth to cover windows. In short he is a commando producer that an independent film simply cannot live without."
-Peter Bieglaus, Writer, Producer, Director, “Thinking with Richard”
John is one of the most enthusiastic and creative men that I've had the pleasure to work with in the film business. He takes on every challenge with a smile, and works with everyone to get the best ideas, and then makes it happen. Whether it's pre-production, production or post, John is definitely someone that you want to be working with. I look forward to the next time our paths cross in this industry.
-Andrew Roberts, Production Manager/Editor, “Thinking With Richard”
In this industry I've come across too many people who WANT to make films but never get it DONE.
John E. Seymore is not in that category -- in fact, he is a multi-faceted, prolific filmmaker who can fill almost any capacity: director, producer, line producer, casting director and actor. In short, he simply gets it done and with great results. I was privileged to have John as a producer, casting director and actor on my ultra-low budget film BLESSID and found him to be invaluable on all fronts. I am also happy to be a co-producer on John's art house indie feature COUPLES and look forward to working with John on future projects.
-Robert Heske, Executive Producer/Writer, “Blessid”
In a business that is ultimately known for stepping on people to get to the top, not following through with commitments and caring more about fame and less about the work, it is difficult to find someone of the contrary. I had the great pleasure of meeting John in November 2012 on the set of Blessid and was pleasantly surprised to be working alongside an incredibly accountable producer who was willing to do whatever he needed to make sure the project stayed the course. From travel arrangements to craft services to onset dilemmas, John was always there to pick up the slack and make sure everything and everyone was taken care of so we could focus on the task at hand; making a great film. It would be an honor to continue to work with John in the future, assuming he would hire me. He is a modern day hustler that is aggressively carving his way to the top. I look forward to meeting him there!
-Chris DiVecchio, Actor, “Blessid”
John Seymore just gets things done... You can count on him 100%!
-Jorge Valdez-Iga, Cinematographer/Co-Director, “You Can’t Kill Stephen King”
I worked with John Seymore during the making of "The Final Shift". From auditions through to the editing process, I found him insightful, creative and fun to work with on the film. I'm looking forward to the next time we work together in whatever capacity this multi-talented man is working.
-Paul Falcone, Editor, “The Final Shift”
I met John some years back, at that time he was just developing his casting department of the Maine Studios. Not until recently were we able to work with John on our Feature Film 'Early Grave' Not only did he nail our casting but his skills as an AD were a huge asset on our film. We have since asked John to work on our two upcoming features. Always positive, always pushing and always ready to work, John brings professionalism to any production.
-Kevin DiBacco, DiBacco Films
There are a number of things that can be said about John E. Seymore; fortunately most of them are good. I have had the opportunity to work with him in the role of Public Relations Director for the Maine Studios as well as co-creator of the Scriptsation Screenwriting competition. Throughout my time with the Maine Studios, I marveled at John's drive and determination to create something from nothing in the Maine film scene. The valiant attempt John made to spearhead a collaborative organization for film in Maine was a brilliant idea that was ahead of its time. Hopefully something similar will emerge in the future. His inspirational leadership, good-natured sense of humor and talent as a writer, actor and producer are things I aspire to as I gain more experience in the industry. The lessons I have learn from John will serve me well and I expect to see great things from John and Seymore Films in the years to come.
-Gary Hauger, Writer, Actor, PR Director
Working with John Seymore is always an absolute joy. He is professional, helpful, and extremely focused. You know a project that he is involved in will be handled well, and turn out amazing. You can always rely on him.
-Kayle Blogna, Actress, “You Can’t Kill Stephen King”
"Working with John is always an amazing and inspiring experience. His professionalism creates a safe and comfortable environment that allows for the perfect place to be creative. When you work with John you can be assured that you have not only a great business partner but a wonderful friend that you can count on. "

When each of these three elements of vision--concern for excellence, for people and for the wider environment--are present, business is transformed from a tool for making profits into a creative, humane experiment for improving life.
